Shape The Night
Before
Dan Tana'sOpened in 1964 by Dobrivoje Tanasijevic, a Serbian former soccer player who had been maitre d' at La Scala. He kept the neon sign frame from the restaurant he took over. Around twenty tables in a 1929 bungalow, red checked cloths, and dishes named after regulars. The Troubadour is next door.

Carney'sA yellow Union Pacific rail car parked on Sunset, serving hot dogs and burgers since John and Pat Wolfe opened it in 1975 and had the car towed in three years later. You order at one end and eat at the counter running down the middle. The Red Eye is a Polish sausage under chili and onions.
