The Rounds is a live events listings and planning service for Nashville. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we don't sell it, and you can have it deleted by sending one email.
Browsing the website
You can read every event, venue, artist and neighborhood page on this site without an account. We do not run third-party advertising trackers and we do not let anyone else drop a tracker on our pages. We do count page views through Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you: it tells us which pages get read and roughly where readers are, and nothing that identifies anyone.
If you make an account
Accounts are handled by Supabase, which stores your email address and sign-in credentials. Once you have an account we store the things you create with it: events you save, stops you add to a round, venues and artists you favorite, and your newsletter and reminder preferences. We also store whether you told us you're a local or visiting, and your trip dates if you gave them, because that changes what we show you.
Usage data
On the website and in the app, we record when a ticket link is clicked and a small set of product events, meaning what was opened and from which page or screen, so we can tell which parts of the product are working and which events people are actually buying tickets to. These are tied to your account if you have one, or to an anonymous identifier stored in your browser or on your device if you don't.
If you join the waitlist or opt into the newsletter we keep your email address for that purpose. Transactional and newsletter email is sent through Resend. Every message has an unsubscribe link and opting out does not affect your account.
Who else sees it
Supabase hosts our database and authentication, Vercel serves this website and counts its page views, and Resend delivers our email. They process this data on our behalf and for no other purpose. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Event, venue and artist listings are gathered from public calendars and venue websites. That data is about events, not about you.
Your choices
Email hello@theroundsmusic.com and we will send you a copy of everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete it and your account. No form, no conditions. Deleting your account removes your saved events, rounds and favorites.
Children
The Rounds is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Many of the venues we list are 18+ or 21+ anyway.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell account holders by email.
