Long walk · 0.6 mi · 12 min walk; 2 min ride - West Hollywood

A twelve-foot hot dog you order through, designed by Milton J. Black and commissioned in 1939 by the dance act Veloz and Yolanda. The 1933 Group restored it and reopened in July 2022 on a lot that held a studio once used by the Doors. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Carney's

0.2 mi · 3 min walk - Sunset Strip

A yellow Union Pacific rail car parked on Sunset, serving hot dogs and burgers since John and Pat Wolfe opened it in 1975 and had the car towed in three years later. You order at one end and eat at the counter running down the middle. The Red Eye is a Polish sausage under chili and onions.
