KCRW Presents: Thee Sinseers: Love Stories Tour

Before

short ride recommended · 7 min - Boyle Heights

The original Guisados, open on Cesar Chavez since 2010, doing stewed fillings on thick handmade corn tortillas. You order at the counter from a board of about a dozen braises and the sampler plate of six small tacos exists for people who cannot choose. It is bright, loud and fast, with a patio out back, and it has kept the same format while the company added a dozen other addresses.

After

Long walk · 0.5 mi · 9 min walk; 2 min ride - Lincoln Heights

A walk-up stand on North Broadway that has run around the clock for close to fifty years. Tacos, burritos and nachos at a window, with a few tables outside.
