Chips and pickled carrots come with the meal and the aguas frescas change daily. Order the taconazo and they griddle cheese under the adobada or the asada.

Saffron & Rose Persian Ice CreamA small shop on Westwood Boulevard that has been making Persian-style bastani since the 1980s. The saffron and pistachio is the one to get, pressed between two wafers if you ask for it that way. Cucumber and date sit on the same board, which tells you the register.
