Sapp Coffee ShopA Thai Town storefront that has been serving since the late 1970s and has poured coffee since the eighties, though the boat noodles are why anyone comes. The bowl arrives with beef, tendon and tripe in a dark broth with pork rinds on top. Order two, they are small.

Jumbo's Clown RoomA small bar on the eastern end of Hollywood Boulevard that has run a bikini dance stage since 1982, where the dancers pick their own music off the jukebox and there is no full nudity and no cover most nights. Courtney Love worked here before Hole. It is a beer and well-drink bar, no food.
