Casita del CampoRudy Del Campo, a dancer who appeared in West Side Story, opened this on Hyperion in 1962 with his wife Helen and his sister Beatriz. The family still runs it. Downstairs is the Cavern Club Theater, which has been staging drag and cabaret under the restaurant for decades.

Cha Cha LoungeOpened in December 2005 in the old Le Bar, later Le Barcito, which was a Latino gay bar on this corner for years. The theme is Tijuana souvenir shop: thatched ceiling, sombreros, blacklight paintings, drag queen portraits and oversized black booths. There is a photo booth and a foosball table. A separate Cha Cha Lounge has run in Seattle since 1998 under the same brand.
