El Huarache AztecaA family-run place on York that has been serving Highland Park for more than twenty years. The huarache is the reason to go, a long oval of fried masa with beans inside, crema and cheese on top and a choice of meat. Jonathan Gold named it in the Los Angeles Times list of essential restaurants in 2008 and it stayed on.
