Hammer MuseumUCLA's museum at Wilshire and Westwood, free to everyone with no ticket and no reservation. The courtyard at the center is open off the street and people sit in it without going into a gallery at all. Exhibitions turn over often enough that a second visit is not a repeat.

In-N-Out BurgerStore 119, on Gayley north of Wilshire and south of the UCLA campus, with a drive-thru and seating inside. It sits in Westwood Village within a few minutes of the Geffen and about a mile from Royce Hall.
