El MerenderoA Mexican restaurant and panaderia on Garey Avenue that opens at 5:30 in the morning and keeps going until the evening. The bakery case runs along one side and the kitchen turns out menudo, chilaquiles and plates of the standard sort all day. It is counter-forward and fast, and nobody minds how long you sit.
