Before
Masa of Echo ParkChicago deep dish baked to order in a pan, which means about forty minutes from ordering to eating. The shop opened on this stretch of Sunset in 2004 and makes its own masa and sauces. Order when you get there and drink something while it bakes.

After
Red Lion TavernTed Mandekic and Edward Pagliano opened this in 1959 as an Olde English pub and turned it German in 1963. It has been in the Mattis family since.
