The aquarium becomes a concert site when Grand Vision brings music to San Pedro's waterfront, using the John Olguin Auditorium and occasional outdoor stages.
These concerts are Grand Vision productions rather than the aquarium's regular museum programming. Recent events have placed tribute bands and other live acts in the John Olguin Auditorium at the aquarium complex.
Grand Vision also uses the site for free outdoor waterfront concerts tied to larger San Pedro events. That makes this an occasional music venue with an aquarium attached, not a standing concert hall with a nightly calendar.
