Behind former carriage-house doors, 24th Street makes theater for adults and children while serving as a neighborhood gathering place.
Debbie Devine and Jay McAdams opened the theater in 1997. They added after-school arts education when they saw how many local children needed somewhere to learn and perform.
The University Park venue has 99 seats. Classes, summer camps and workshops bring young neighbors into the building between public productions.
