Arcadia, in San Gabriel Valley
Astronaut City Comedy Club
Comedy Club · 1037 S Baldwin Ave
An independent comedy club and 21-plus bar in Arcadia that pours beer, wine and soju, and books stand-up and open mics for the San Gabriel Valley.
Soju sits on the drink list next to beer and wine, which is not the standard comedy club setup. Entry is 21 and over, the parking is free, and the club is independent rather than part of a chain.
Arcadia is well east of the Hollywood clubs, and the pitch is aimed at the San Gabriel Valley and Pasadena rather than at anyone driving in from the Westside. The calendar mixes booked stand-up shows with open mics.
