Best Comedy Club Near Me Theater

Comedy Club · 7456 Melrose Ave

Official site Directions

A 45-seat black box on Melrose that comedians built themselves, from the chairs to the sound, and now run as a stand-up venue.

The people behind it are working comics, and they say every inch of the place was gone over with a decibel meter and a tape measure before it was called finished. What that buys is a small stand-up space where the back wall sits a few strides from the mic.

Stand-up is the default, but the stage also goes out for roasts and improv nights, and the operators are willing to brag at length about the comfortable chairs and the daily cleaning. The bragging is a decent signal of who the venue thinks it is for.
