At Bob Baker Marionette Theater, children can sit at puppet-eye level and finish the show with ice cream.
The company has performed since 1963 and holds a collection of more than 3,000 handmade marionettes. A typical production draws about a hundred of them into a musical revue.
Performances unfold in the round amid painted scenes and red curtains. Floor cushions, conventional theater seats and raised seating give families several ways to watch.
