Burbank, in San Fernando Valley
The Colony Theatre
Theater · 555 N Third St
The Colony brings professional theater to Burbank, with a company history rooted in television actors returning to the stage.
Incorporated in 1975, the nonprofit spent twenty-five years performing in Silver Lake. It moved to its present home in 2000 after the city funded the building's conversion into a theater.
The North Third Street venue also hosts readings and other events. Its Tunesday open mic supplies an accompanist, letting singers bring sheet music and try material before an audience.
