The Fonda Theatre
Theater · 6126 Hollywood Boulevard
The Fonda puts touring bands in a Hollywood theater that has alternated between stage productions, movie premieres and live music for a century.
It opened in 1926 as Carter De Haven's Music Box. Later known as the Pix, it hosted premieres of Jaws and Rocky before returning to performances onstage.
A balcony overlooks the main floor, giving the audience a choice of perspective. Goldenvoice books the 1,200-capacity venue, whose past visitors include Radiohead, Billie Eilish and Nick Cave.
