Virgil Village, in Central L.A.
Heavy Manners Library
Cinema · Virgil Village
An Echo Park art book and zine library that also programs video art and small screenings in an intentionally informal setting.
Heavy Manners hosts events from its Alvarado Street storefront, with film appearing alongside readings, publishing and art programs.
Its Screen Time series shows how the place works: contemporary video art, a compact audience and little separation between library culture and exhibition.
