Moving Arts puts new writing before a small Atwater Village audience, from early readings to fully staged productions.
Julie Briggs and Lee Wochner founded the company in 1992. Its MADLab development program gives playwrights time to work on scripts before presenting them in public reading series.
The Casitas Avenue theater has fixed seating, a compact lobby and a covered entrance where people can gather. The stage measures about nineteen feet in each direction.
