The Road Theatre on Magnolia

Theater · 10747 Magnolia Blvd

Official site Directions

The Road develops new plays inside the NoHo Senior Arts Colony, where residents can take part behind the scenes.

Founded in 1991, the company opened its Magnolia venue in 2013 through a partnership with EngAGE. Its ensemble volunteers also teach performing arts to people living in the building.

Work reaches the stage through full productions, readings and the Summer Playwrights Festival. The emphasis is on scripts Los Angeles audiences have not yet had a chance to see.
