Wilshire Center, in Central L.A.
The Wiltern
Theater · 3790 Wilshire Blvd
A Wilshire Boulevard theater at Western Avenue that takes comedy at theater scale, the size where a touring act plays a single date instead of a weekend run.
The venue sits where the boulevard cuts through Koreatown, and it works at theater scale rather than club scale. A comedy bill here is one act for one date, not four shows across three days.
Most of the calendar is music, and comedy arrives when an act has outgrown a club. Wilshire at Western is reachable from most of central Los Angeles by car or by train, with a Metro station on the corner.
