Burbank, in San Fernando Valley
The Victory Theatre Center
Theater · 3326 W Victory Blvd
The Victory gives new American plays a small Burbank stage, often while their writers are still finding the final shape.
Maria Gobetti and Tom Ormeny founded the nonprofit in 1980. The complex contains two performance spaces, Big Victory and Little Victory, along with an acting studio.
Its Page to Stage series lets audiences hear scripts in development, performed by actors with a director. A conversation with the playwright follows the reading.
