Vidiots at the Eagle Theatre
Cinema · 4884 Eagle Rock Blvd
Vidiots, a nonprofit whose founding goes back to 1985, programs the Eagle on Eagle Rock Boulevard, often with the writer or director of the film sitting in the audience.
A typical booking is not just the picture. Raising Victor Vargas came with its screenwriter Eva Vives in attendance, which is the house pattern: a library title, a guest who worked on it, and a conversation that only happens once.
New dates go up on a rolling basis, so the calendar is never fixed a season ahead. Popular shows come off online sale and go to walk-up, with standby held for when the walk-up line is spent, and the Eagle takes part in TeenTix LA.
