Downtown Long Beach, in Harbor
Long Beach Arena
Arena · 300 E Ocean Blvd
Wyland's ocean mural wraps Long Beach Arena, giving a large downtown concert and event venue an exterior that is hard to mistake.
The artist completed Planet Ocean in 1993. Inside, the arena seats up to 13,500, with floor layouts that change for concerts, receptions and other large gatherings.
The building belongs to the convention and entertainment complex on Ocean Boulevard. Adjustable overhead equipment allows its floor to take on a smaller-scale setting, so the event's seating chart matters here.
