Shape The Night
Before
Shun Lee WestA black-lacquer dining hall on 65th Street with gold dragons running the length of the ceiling, opened in the early 1980s and barely touched since. The attached Shun Lee Cafe does dim sum. It has been the answer to where to eat before a Lincoln Center curtain for forty years and the menu has not chased anything.

After
Malachy's Donegal InnA small pub on 72nd Street a block from Strawberry Fields, trading under this name since 1989 and as the Blarney Castle before that. Wood bar, a few tables, televisions on for whatever is playing. It opens at noon and runs to two in the morning most nights.
