Before
Jeremy's Ale HouseBeer comes in styrofoam cups the size of a pitcher and the ceiling is covered in neckties and bras left by customers. It started under the Brooklyn Bridge ramp and moved a block to 228 Front Street, keeping the fryer and the prices. Fried clams and a cup of Bud is most of the menu.

After
O'Hara's Restaurant and PubA pub on Cedar Street a block south of the World Trade Center, covered wall to ceiling in shoulder patches left by the fire and police departments that sent people here after September 11.
