The Paris CafeA bar on the ground floor of the Meyer's Hotel building at Peck Slip, with a long wooden counter that has been serving this corner of the waterfront since the 1870s. Hurricane Sandy flooded the block and closed it, and it came back. Happy hour runs 4pm to 7pm Wednesday through Saturday.

UlyssesThe pub that anchors Stone Street, the cobbled block where the Financial District does its drinking outdoors. Tables run down the middle of the street in warm weather and the bar keeps going until 4am every day of the year. It has been there since 2003 and the crowd turns over from office workers to whoever is still out.
