Second Mouse Cheese ShopA small cheese counter a few doors along Manville Road from the cinema, stocking American farmstead wheels and imported ones alongside cured meat, crackers and preserves. Everything is cut to order and the staff will put a board together while you wait. It is a shop rather than a grocery, so the case is small and what is in it moves.

Soul Brewing CompanyA brewery on Wheeler Avenue that makes its lagers and ales on the premises and pours them alongside wine and cider. It won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival in 2024 and turns up in Westchester Magazine's yearly list, and neither has made it hard to get a seat. Snacks rather than a kitchen, so eat before you come.
