BrownstoneJAZZ SUNDAY AFTER BRUNCH TRIO

Before

0.1 mi · 2 min walk - Bedford-Stuyvesant

Noel and Geeta Brown have been frying bara and filling it with curried chickpeas since 2002, first in a narrow storefront on Nostrand Avenue and since 2018 around the corner on Fulton with seats. You order doubles at the counter and say how much pepper you want. The James Beard Foundation gave the place an America's Classics award in 2019.

After

Long walk · 0.7 mi · 15 min walk; 2 min ride - Bedford-Stuyvesant

A mezcal-leaning bar on Fulton at Classon with a large backyard and a ping-pong table in it. DJs play records inside most weekends. It takes no reservations and the yard fills up early once the weather turns.
