Wonder BagelsA bagel shop on Jersey Avenue that has been boiling and baking here for more than thirty-five years, with a deli counter alongside for egg sandwiches. There are other branches on Central and Bergen, and this is the downtown one. It is a morning and early-afternoon business and it closes when that is done.

McGinley Square PubA pub on Montgomery Street at the top of McGinley Square, with a long beer list, happy-hour pricing and a kitchen doing bar food. It serves the Saint Peter's crowd and the streets around it rather than anyone coming over from Manhattan. The license runs to 3am on a Friday and Saturday.
