Shape The Day
Before
Station SquareThe brick and half-timber plaza at the entrance to Forest Hills Gardens, laid out by Grosvenor Atterbury and Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. between 1912 and 1916, with the railroad station arcade of 1913 on one side. You walk under the arches to get to the Stadium and the paving carries Union Jack patterns in the brickwork. The buildings are still in use as apartments and shops. It is a public plaza with nothing to pay.

After
Dirty Pierre'sA bar on Station Square, thirty years in the same doorway, started in 1995 by Christopher Lucien File and now run by his sister Jamie. Burgers and white wine mussels are the menu and there is a house sangria. The walls carry concert posters and band memorabilia, which makes sense given what is over the wall.
