Faicco's Italian SpecialtiesA butcher counter and sandwich operation that has been on Bleecker Street since the start of the last century. The thing to order is the Italian special hero or a rice ball from the fried case by the register. It is takeout, so plan to eat it on a bench rather than at a table.

Julius'Often called the oldest continuously operating gay bar in New York, and the site of the April 1966 Sip-In that established the right of gay customers to be served in a licensed bar. A griddle behind the bar turns out burgers all night. The floor is sawdust and the walls are covered in photographs nobody has taken down.
