Shape The Night
Before
Desert IslandGabe Fowler opened this in 2008 in an old bakery storefront and kept the sign. It stocks comics, zines and art books, much of it self-published and sold on consignment. Fowler also runs Comic Arts Brooklyn out of it.

Clem'sA corner bar at Grand and Roebling with a jukebox that runs to rock and soul and a handful of taps. Prices have not moved much. It opens at 1pm on weekends and stays open to 4am Friday and Saturday. Nothing about it is decorated.
