Jerome's Pizza & PastaA slice-and-pasta place on Bedford Park Boulevard East, right under the elevated 4 at Jerome Avenue. Slices, pies, baked dishes and a short list of beer and wine. It is a counter with tables, the kind of place students and hospital staff eat at on the way somewhere else.

Liebman's Kosher DelicatessenJoe Liebman opened this on West 235th at Johnson Avenue in 1953 and it is the last kosher deli left in the Bronx. Pastrami and corned beef cut by hand, matzo ball soup, a counter and a row of booths. Open seven days from eleven in the morning until nine at night.
