Emily's Pork StoreAn Italian butcher on Graham Avenue run by the Aliperti family since 1974, making its own fresh sausage and dried soppressata behind the counter. Sandwiches are built to order. It closes at 6:30pm and is shut Sunday and Monday.

Turkey's Nest TavernFamily run since the 1980s on the corner opposite McCarren Park, with a pool table and cheap beer and the ball game on. It opens at 11am and does not close until 4am, every day of the week. Nothing about it has been updated to match what went up around it.
