Espresso, drip and pastry, ordered at the counter, with tables inside and a few on the sidewalk. The same owners run a counter in Croton-on-Hudson and one inside Phelps Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, and this is the storefront.

The Pleasantville DinerA family-run diner on Memorial Plaza opposite the train station, with booths and a menu that runs breakfast all day into burgers, sandwiches and dinner plates. It opens at seven in the morning and serves until eleven at night, seven days a week, which in this village is unusual. Nothing to book and no wait worth calling one.
