Pizza BeatAn Italian restaurant and bar that opened on Central Park Avenue in 1977 and is still working the same recipes. Miguel Mejia, who started there in 1985 under the original owners, bought it with his family in 2019 and redid the bar. Happy hour runs from three in the afternoon to eight in the evening six days a week, with small plates alongside the drink specials.

Candlelight InnA wing joint on Central Park Avenue that has been going since 1955 and is the reason people in this part of Westchester argue about wings at all. The dining area is dark and cluttered and the bar runs the length of it. It serves until one in the morning most nights, which in this stretch of strip mall is close to unheard of.
