Lower East Side, in Manhattan
Mercury Lounge
Rock Club · 217 E Houston St
Mercury Lounge keeps touring bands and local acts close to the audience on the Lower East Side, with opening sets worth making time for.
The East Houston Street club is programmed by Mercury East Presents. Its calendar gives individual artists and their support acts separate billing, making the whole lineup easy to follow.
A smaller club show leaves less distance between audience and performance. Come for the songs and the musicians playing them, with the bar as part of the setting.
