PyzaA cafeteria-style counter on Nassau Avenue where you point at what you want and carry it to a table. Soups, pierogi, schnitzel and stuffed cabbage, cash only. Robert Sietsema calls it one of the best remaining old Polish lunchrooms in the city.

The PalaceA large bar on the eastern end of Nassau Avenue, in the space the old Palace Cafe occupied, with a kitchen running until 10pm and the bar going to 2am on weeknights. It is the last real stop before Greenpoint turns industrial. Prices reflect that.
