Teddy's Bar & GrillA bar has operated in this 1887 corner building for most of the time since, and the Peter Doelger Brewing glass over the door is still there. The food is burgers and fish and chips at a price that has not chased the neighborhood. Closed Mondays, which catches people out.

Vinnie's PizzeriaA Bedford Avenue slice counter open since the 1980s, with hand-lettered signs covering most of the wall and a vegan slice that predates the trend by a decade. Slices go over the counter until 2am on Friday and Saturday. You eat standing up.
