ComedyShape The Night

B&H DairyA kosher dairy counter that opened on Second Avenue in 1938, when this block was the Yiddish theater district. Soup comes with challah baked on the premises. There are about a dozen stools along the counter and no table service.

Sly Fox BarAlso called Lys Mykyta, Ukrainian for sly fox, and licensed as Karpaty Pub. Narrow and dark, with squeaky seats facing a television and a few booths behind them. Shots run about four dollars. The kitchen next door will send pierogi over until 10:30pm.
