Sternberg ParkFour acres between Montrose Avenue and Boerum Street, renamed in 1990 for Frances Hamburger Sternberg. A synthetic turf field takes up most of it, with handball and basketball courts alongside and a dog park at the southern end. The playground shuts at 9pm.

The Anchored InnA dive on Waterbury Street with pool, a tented back patio and a kitchen doing Mexican-leaning pub food. Loud guitars on the stereo and art covering the walls. It opens at noon and runs to 4am from Thursday through Sunday.
