Shape The Night

Before

0.4 mi · 8 min walk - Midtown West - Theater District

A narrow bar off Times Square papered floor to ceiling with fight posters. Jimmy Glenn cornered Ali. The jukebox runs soul and the pours are heavy.

8:30 PM · The High Society New Orleans Jazz Band

After

0.1 mi · 1 min walk - Hell's Kitchen

Cheap pitchers and a free hot dog with every drink. The duct-taped red booths have outlasted most of the block around them.
