Shape The Night

Before

Purity Diner

Long walk · 0.6 mi · 12 min walk; 2 min ride - Park Slope

A long narrow diner on Seventh Avenue with a counter down one side and booths down the other, doing eggs all day and a dinner menu nobody orders from at breakfast. The prices sit below everything else on the avenue. It opens at eight every morning and runs to ten on weekdays, which almost nothing else in Park Slope does.

9:15 PM · The History of Concrete

After

Halyards

short ride recommended · 4 min - Gowanus

A bar on Third Avenue at 6th Street with a pool table, a dartboard and sidewalk seats. Its own site describes it as a neighborhood bar among the gritty Gowanus industrial streets, which is accurate and also the whole pitch. The kitchen does toasted cheese sandwiches and not much more.
