Nitehawk CinemaA first-run and repertory cinema on Metropolitan Avenue, open since 2011 in the shell of the old Charles Theater, with food and drink brought to the seat during the film. It still runs 35mm. Matinees start in the late morning on weekends.

The CommodoreFried chicken and honey-butter biscuits out of a bar kitchen on Metropolitan Avenue, served until 4am seven nights. The drinks are tiki-adjacent and cheap. Wood panelling, vinyl booths, nothing about it staged.
