East Williamsburg, in Brooklyn
The Chocolate Factory
Warehouse · 70 Scott Avenue
The Chocolate Factory shares an East Williamsburg building with actual chocolate production, giving electronic music a setting that still has a working industrial neighbor.
The event space at 70 Scott Avenue has high ceilings and multiple levels. It can be reconfigured for different productions rather than following a single permanent concert layout.
Promoter Gray Area has presented John Digweed, Shimza and other dance acts here. Check the organizer as well as the artist, since the bill shapes how the warehouse is used.
