Greenwich House Music School

Music School / Concert Hall · 46 Barrow St

A working music school in a West Village townhouse, Greenwich House puts student recitals and professional concerts under the same roof.

Music lessons began here in 1905, at the organization's original Jones Street home. The school now occupies 46 Barrow Street, with instruction for children and adults.

Alongside teaching, it provides affordable rehearsal space for musicians. The concert calendar draws on that daily activity, mixing public performances with the work of people studying here.
