Jersey City Theater Center
Performing Arts Center · 335-337 Newark Ave
Jersey City Theater Center brings international performance into local conversations, with theater and dance that take social questions seriously.
Olga Levina and Ben LoPiccolo founded the nonprofit in 2006. Early productions used temporary spaces before the organization developed a connection with the restored White Eagle Hall.
Programs include the Voices international festival and Stories of Greenville. Youth education and artist support accompany the public shows, keeping neighborhood participation part of the organization's work.
