Lincoln Park, in New Jersey
Newark Symphony Hall
Music Hall · 1020 Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Blvd
Newark Symphony Hall has been the city's main stage for a century and is now the largest Black-led arts institution in New Jersey.
Newarkers call it the city's First Stage. It is marking the hundredth anniversary of its building and is partway through a historic restoration, so parts of the campus may be under work.
Programming spans concerts, community events and festivals rather than a single genre, including month-long series that take over the whole campus.
